Who can join StreetLight Community Theatre?
StreetLight welcomes children, teenagers, and adults who have a passion for the creative arts. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have previous experience, our programmes are designed to help you discover and develop your talents in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Is StreetLight only for church members?
No. StreetLight Community Theatre is an outreach ministry that is open to everyone in the community. We welcome individuals and families from all backgrounds who are interested in learning, growing, and expressing themselves through the arts in a positive and encouraging environment.
Do I need previous experience to participate?
Not at all! Our experienced mentors provide step-by-step guidance for beginners while offering opportunities for more experienced participants to continue developing their skills. All you need is a willingness to learn, be creative, and work as part of a team.
Will participants have opportunities to perform?
Yes! Participants are encouraged to showcase their talents through stage productions, community performances, outreach events, festivals, and creative showcases. These experiences help build confidence while using the arts to inspire and positively impact others.
